A dense school of white grunts crowds for the limited cover around an isolated coral head above the Blue Hole sinkhole. These grunts were interesting in that they seemed to have adapted to the broad expanses of sand surrounding this lonely coral. They seemed to be much less brilliant in their color than their reef counterparts. They were almost as white as the surrounding sand. |
