I just loved this juxtaposition: the nurse shark hard asleep up under a ledge with fairy basslets apparently dancing in its dreams, I imagined. Delicate and powerful.

These small, colorful fish seem to earn the "fairy" moniker here.

I saw many beautiful small tropicals like these basslets but this was the largest group I saw in one place. This shot was made at Randy's Gazebo reef.
