Batwing Coral Crab

Crabs come with an amazing array of adaptations of size, shape and color. So, I often find a new one difficult to identify. From what I can tell from my research, this is batwing coral crab, also known as a red coral crab.

We found this one on a deep morning dive to Shark Shoals reef, in more than 100 feet of water. It was firmly lodged in this hole.
